Shafik Banks, Kimo Sounds, Eir.m - Still Remember

Still here.
The static plays upon the screen.
I trace the spaces in between.
Your shadow lingers on the floor, though you don't live here anymore.
The embers burn inside the dark.
I try to catch a fading spark.
The pressure builds behind my eyes,
beneath the gold and heavy skies.
I still remember how it felt.
The way you made my spirit melt.
I cannot wash the taste away.
It stays the same from day to day.
We used to watch the city glow
and let the heavy traffic go.
Your head was resting on my chest.
